Responsibilities

• Developing a solid, qualified care team of anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants
• Supervising departmental staff and providing ongoing evaluation of anesthesia skills and job performance
• Fostering a positive collaborative work environment and managing relationships with surgeons, other members of the medical staff, administrative management, hospital staff, and the anesthesia team
• Assuring department compliance with Medical Staff and hospital policies, rules, and regulations, as well as Departmental policies and procedures

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 10 years of experience in anesthesia practice
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience leading a team of anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
