About the role

The INSPIRE Leadership Development Program is an accelerated leadership pathway designed for driven and emerging hospitality leaders seeking to grow into a future management role within a luxury resort environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Resort Experience leaders to gain exposure to leadership strategy, operational planning, and decision making
  • Learn and uphold Fairmont luxury service standards and Resort Experience operational expectations
  • Develop strong knowledge of SOPs, operational workflows, safety procedures, and guest experience standards
  • Support and perform talent acquisition in all roles
  • Support day to day operational leadership across multiple Resort Experience divisions
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, initiative, and strong leadership presence
  • Foster a collaborative, guest focused, and positive team culture
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of seasonal activations and resort events
  • Assist with operational readiness, staffing support, guest flow, and event logistics
  • Support entertainment operations, concessions, guest services, and operational execution during high volume periods
  • Support technical event installations, lighting and decor operations, and operational setup
  • Aid in warehouse organization, inventory readiness, refurbishment processes, and logistical support
  • Support installation and strike timelines during seasonal activations and large-scale events
  • Support daily operations of family focused resort experiences including Camp Trailblazers and Day Camp programming
  • Assist with staffing readiness, operational execution, guest engagement, and program support
  • Gain exposure to childcare compliance standards, onboarding, training, and SOP execution
  • Support the development and delivery of engaging family experiences aligned with resort standards
  • Assist with colleague supervision, operational support, and training readiness
  • Support guest recovery situations and help resolve operational challenges professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of organization, presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness
  • Participate in leadership development conversations, mentorship opportunities, and performance coaching

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year cumulative experience in hospitality (within hotel environment, preferred) or a customer-service oriented environment (and/or experience in specific area you are applying)
  • Post-secondary education (i.e. bachelor’s, or master’s degree) in Hospitality or Business is an asset
  • Desire to advance your hospitality career, with strong ability, engagement, and motivation
  • Agile and works well in fast-paced environments, willing to learn and commit to a role
  • Legal working eligibility in country you are applying, at this time we are unable to provide sponsorship
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience leading teams within hospitality, events, entertainment, recreation, childcare, retail, or guest experience environments
  • Strong desire to grow into a management role within hospitality operations
  • Demonstrated leadership potential with a proactive, driven, and solution focused mindset
  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast paced and changing operational environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods
  • CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Title 4 Liquor Certification
  • Negative Tuberculosis Test
  • High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications
