Responsibilities
- Performs inspections of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Maintains monitoring of critical equipment and instrumentation.
- Prepares product verification documentation.
- Fulfills standard operating procedures for mechanical inspection, test operations, and product assurance.
- Communicates inspection results to cross-functional teams.
- Solves problems related to nonconformances and implements corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Proposes rework and repair activities to eliminate nonconforming conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship.
- At least 5 years of experience inspecting precision-machined components.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and a thorough understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with manual inspection tools and common mechanical inspection methods.
- Experience with CMM programming is a plus.
Qualifications
As a Sr Inspector, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of inspections, checks, and tests for quality control in the manufacturing of products. You will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and will work under minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for accepting, rejecting, and ordering rework of items.
