Inspector - Packing (3rd Shift)

Pay

$18.37 - $22.26/hour (pending experience)

Schedule

• Sunday: 10pm - 6am
• Tuesday - Thursday: 6pm - 6am

Qualifications

• Must be able to read standard/metric measuring tape
• Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations or standard metric measurements
• Ability to work with all levels of employees
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Wrap and stack all finished slit rolls to allow production employees to run machines with minimal downtime
• Keep track of all packing supplies (e.g., boxes, roll cradles, core plugs) and inform the Shipping Lead when reordering is necessary
• Load the wrapping station with proper supplies (e.g., boxes, core plugs)
• Assist Slitter Operators when able to do so
• Maintain work areas clean and assist with general housekeeping
• Operate bailer in a safe manner
• Assist slitter operators by cutting fiber and plastic cores
• Clean and deburr plastic cores
• Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational, and Employment policies and practices
• Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety, and prerequisite programs
• Daily cleanup of equipment
• Perform other duties as needed
