Inspector Packer ($20/hr + Bonuses) - Paper Dept

Join Dart’s new paper manufacturing facility in Leola, PA as an Inspector Packer and earn up to $4,000 in stay bonuses during your first year.

Schedule

This role follows a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts. Available shifts include:

• 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (includes $2/hour shift premium)
• 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Candidates with prior experience working comparable extended-shift schedules will be strongly preferred.

Pay

Starting pay of $20 per hour, with an additional $2/hour shift premium for overnight shifts. Weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and verify package counts
• Assemble and tape boxes for shipping
• Perform routine quality checks throughout production
• Monitor and inspect products from up to 2–3 production machines simultaneously, as assigned
• Safely start and stop machinery following standard procedures

Requirements

• Ability to meet safety and quality standards
• Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate demonstrated processes and workplace procedures
• Minimum proficiency with the English language to ensure effective training and communication about safety and quality issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Six (6) months of experience in inspecting, packaging, or quality checking preferred

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Stand and move throughout a 12-hour shift
• Perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
• Work safely in a non-climate-controlled environment where temperatures may be hot
• Lift, move, push, or pull materials regularly
• Steel-toed shoes required (assistance/reimbursement provided for approved safety shoes)
