About the role
The primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.
- Inspect and pack quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.
- Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification.
- Uphold quality standards and report any suspect or defective product for review and decision.
- Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.
- Practice 5S, Good Housekeeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.
- Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility.
- Complete all documentation completely and accurately.
- Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack.
- Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.
