Inspector II

The incumbent must be able to perform work within a broad framework of general policy, exercising judgment in defining work objectives and determining methods and systems to meet objectives. Reports to the Building Official.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a vocational/technical diploma with training in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems and inspections, supplemented by a minimum of two years of progressively responsible building construction and/or inspections experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must be licensed as a Plumbing Inspector with the state of Texas.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
