Inspection/Building Envelope Consultant

About the role

Responsible for inspecting and maintaining building envelopes in Annapolis Junction, MD. Duties include assessing structural integrity, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building structures for safety and compliance with local building codes
• Identify and report potential hazards such as water damage, mold, and structural issues
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent future problems
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building envelope inspection and maintenance
• Knowledge of building codes and standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Proficiency in building inspection software
• Experience with environmental assessments
