Inspection Assembler

Description

• Will conduct 100% inspection of Foley catheters to include inflation of the sac and immersing the product in water.
• Will be trained to fill in for the Funnel Trim Operator and department Utility.
• Must be able to lift tote cases weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Must have accurate record keeping skills, Must follow all GMP/BOP Guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work area as outlined in the GMPs.

Qualification & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.

Physical Demand

• While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls) and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
• PPE required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses, apron, and appropriate shoes.
