Insomniac - Paid Fall Street Marketing Internship
About the role
Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Street Marketing Intern to join the Marketing team in Calabasas. This role will support the Street Marketing team through a combination of in-office administrative coordination, onsite event support, grassroots marketing execution, and research projects while gaining hands-on experience in live event and promotional marketing.
Responsibilities
- Support the Street Marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination
- Assist with preparing marketing materials, flyers, signage, and promotional assets for upcoming events and campaigns
- Conduct research on local markets, community events, audience trends, and grassroots marketing opportunities
- Assist with tracking inventory, managing supplies, and maintaining organization of marketing storage areas
- Provide general support for special projects and other duties assigned by the Street Marketing team
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must be able to work out of Calabasas, CA office and greater Los Angeles area as needed
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Typical commitment is 16-29 hours per week
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace preferred
- Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
- Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Comfortable working outdoors, on foot, and independently for extended periods
- Physically able to carry, hang, and distribute material
- Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the brand professionally onsite
- Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands
Work Environment
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times, willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines. Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event locations. Must be able to work in open concept office space.
Pay
The expected compensation for this position in California is $18.00 USD hourly. The expected compensation for this position is $16.90 USD - $18.00 USD hourly, based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
