About the role
VAT Group is seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. Based in California/Pacific Time, this role involves generating leads, managing quotations, supporting customers through the sales pipeline, and partnering with Outside Sales Managers to grow the territory.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, and inbound inquiries.
- Build strong customer relationships and manage opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and support the full sales cycle.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams on customer solutions.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and activity data.
Requirements
- Experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with proactive follow-up discipline.
- Ability to understand technical products and customer needs.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
Qualifications
