About the Role
HME is currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative, Southeast Region. In this role, you will develop new customers through telemarketing and by answering incoming product inquiries. This role will be based out of Carlsbad, CA on a hybrid schedule supporting the Southeast territory.
Responsibilities
- Follows up with current customers within 30 days of coming out of factory warranty to determine customer’s need for service contracts that meets or exceeds established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Makes and completes a minimum of 500 outbound calls per month to potential HSC customers to determine customers' need for HSC product, answer customer's questions, and provide customer with HSC product information.
- Documents customer calls, sales activity, and other customer/prospect information using current CRM package.
- Participates in all customer/prospect targeted sales and promotional campaigns documenting activity as requested.
- Answers incoming calls concerning all sales-related requests for HSC products and services.
- Determines customer buying cycle and intent.
- Sends appropriate product literature and information.
- Fulfills customer requests to purchase HSC products.
- Answers customer questions and assists in resolving installation concerns.
- Prepares and follows up on customer proposals on a timely basis.
- Coordinates and regularly communicates sales efforts with the Outside Sales Manager(s) and HSC management to maximize effectiveness and minimize duplication of efforts.
- Assists Outside Sales Managers with sales/order documentation, literature requests, order follow-up, interdepartmental communication, and trade show backup.
- Arranges face-to-face appointments with customers/prospects for the Outside Sales Managers as required to close business on a timely basis.
- Collaborates with management to establish and execute the annual sales goal for the region.
- Collaborates with regional sales team member(s) to maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed corporate-set quotas.
- Forecasts quarterly and monthly sales for the region.
- Participates as a member of the Regional team that is responsible for maintaining at least 85% YTD quota for direct sales in the region.
- Acts as a backup to the Sales Support department as required.
- Follows-up, qualifies, and closes sales leads generated through various mediums such as web leads, trade shows, brand new store development lists, and inbound calls.
- Provides feedback to management on competitors based on customer feedback.
- Conducts customer training sessions as directed by HSC management.
- Assists other regions as directed by HSC management.
Requirements
- 1+ years applicable sales experience.
- Phone sales experience.
- Professional attitude.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented for quote preparation.
- Knowledge of CRM programs.
- AA Degree (2 years college) - Preferred.

Pay
$25.72/hour - $34.28/hour + monthly commission is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
