About the Role

As an Inside Sales Representative with Barsco Refrigeration, you’ll partner closely with Outside Sales to grow existing customer relationships and develop new business. You’ll use your refrigeration knowledge and sales expertise to provide customers with the right products and solutions while helping drive revenue and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Outside Sales to grow existing customer relationships and develop new business
• Use refrigeration knowledge and sales expertise to provide customers with the right products and solutions while helping drive revenue and deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Manage customer quotes, place orders, check product availability and pricing
• Assist with problem resolution
• Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and promotional products to help achieve and exceed sales goals

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of refrigeration industry experience
• 5 years of wholesale refrigeration experience preferred
• Previous experience in inside sales, counter sales, customer service, or wholesale distribution preferred
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration products, applications, and industry practices
• Strong product knowledge and ability to understand and communicate refrigeration solutions
• A passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service
• A consultative approach to understanding customer needs and recommending the right products
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with Outside Sales and branch teams
• Flexibility to support the branch and assist where needed

Professional Development

Physical Requirements

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job during assigned work hours
• Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
• Sitting and standing for extended periods
• Operation of office equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment (requires near vision, manual dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment)
• Oral communication skills: speaking, speech clarity, and speech recognition
