Inside Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, events, and other demand generation initiatives
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach to targeted accounts
  • Conduct discovery conversations to identify customer needs, business challenges, decision-making processes, and project timelines
  • Qualify opportunities and coordinate seamless handoff of sales ready leads to Sales Managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, including lead status, activities, and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide market feedback, customer insights, and messaging recommendations
  • Partner with Engineering and technical teams to address customer questions and support solution development when necessary
  • Utilize AI-powered productivity tools and research platforms to improve outreach effectiveness and sales preparation
  • Represent Yotta Energy at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events as needed
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of energy storage technologies, utility rate structures, and commercial energy management concepts

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or a customer facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable engaging prospective customers through phone, email, and virtual communication channels
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or energy technology industries

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000 DOE
  • Commission: 1% commission on sales generated
