Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting New Lead Generation and managing the existing book of business by researching the web and other databases for new leads; managing and qualifying inbound leads (website, sales email, sales phone); using tools to qualify leads and find first contact for outside sales reps.
  • Customer Service – Process and communicate customer complaints / issues. Work with the rest of the team to ensure proper resolutions are completed (i.e. credits, replacement material, etc.).
  • Sample Process – Support the sample process; put together samples / marketing materials, ship samples.
  • Pricing – responsible for putting together customer price sheets and communication for review. Running the pricing calculator for new customers / new profiles for review.
  • Quotes – responsible for putting together quotes to support your book of business
  • Data Management / Reporting – produce weekly reporting; providing the preliminary sales and forecasts for review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, relay customer feedback and provide superior customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service while building client relationships.
  • B2B sales experience within the packaging industry, with integrated materials, plastics and/or molded foam sectors being a big plus.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in Engineering and/or Packaging is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel as required.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Business or relevant work experience required, Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inside B2B sales.
