About the role

The Inside Sales Business Development Associate plays a critical role in driving growth by managing inbound sales inquiries, developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and supporting outside sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Qualify inbound leads and route opportunities appropriately between business development, inside and outside sales
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Maintain and expand the company’s prospect and customer database
  • Own accurate and timely CRM updates including notes, activities, opportunity stages, and next steps
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new business opportunities
  • Manage a defined territory or group of key accounts supported remotely
  • Identify customer needs and position CGM products, services, and technical expertise accordingly
  • Research accounts, industries, and market trends to support sales and marketing efforts
  • Support quoting, follow up, and coordination with internal teams as needed
  • Use and follow tools and processes within the Quality Management System
  • Leverage, follow, and continuously improve CGM’s sales process

Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
