About the role
The Inside Sales Business Development Associate plays a critical role in driving growth by managing inbound sales inquiries, developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and supporting outside sales representatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Qualify inbound leads and route opportunities appropriately between business development, inside and outside sales
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Maintain and expand the company’s prospect and customer database
- Own accurate and timely CRM updates including notes, activities, opportunity stages, and next steps
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new business opportunities
- Manage a defined territory or group of key accounts supported remotely
- Identify customer needs and position CGM products, services, and technical expertise accordingly
- Research accounts, industries, and market trends to support sales and marketing efforts
- Support quoting, follow up, and coordination with internal teams as needed
- Use and follow tools and processes within the Quality Management System
- Leverage, follow, and continuously improve CGM’s sales process
Requirements
- A high school diploma
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
