Inside Sales Representative

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in serving customers and supporting the Outside Sales team at Triangle Fastener Corporation. This position involves handling customer inquiries, managing orders, and ensuring a seamless sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Handle walk-in sales and guide customers through product selections
• Enter and process orders with precision and speed
• Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
• Cook up delivery schedules and provide updates to customers
• Support the Outside Sales team by managing backend processes and customer follow-ups
• Maintain a clean and professional showroom and promote featured products
• Address and resolve customer issues proactively and professionally
• Prepare and send product samples, catalogs, and credit applications
• Review open sales reports and ensure data integrity
• Pull counter orders as needed to ensure timely customer service
• Work closely with the Branch Operations Manager and sales staff daily

Requirements

• 1+ year in customer service or related position
• 3+ years in inside sales or similar position
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in business, sales, or related field

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn and operate company software, including CSD
