Join the Oregon Steel Mills team in Portland as an Inside Sales Representative. Base salary starts at $75,000+ per year with monthly incentive bonus opportunities. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will perform all facets of Inside Sales duties and act as support for Outside Sales by developing new leads and building relationships with customers to enable Oregon Steel Mills to secure the greatest volume of profitable sales. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Order solicitation, pricing and quotations, order write-up, expediting, claims processing, and general telephone work
• Assuming responsibility for accounts and projects
• Understanding the roles and functions of various departments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
• Keeping up to date on competitor activity within the industry (e.g., pricing, product developments, policies, company changes) and reporting all significant information to Sales Management and Outside Sales Representatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field or commensurate experience
• 3 to 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience, preferably metals related
