About the role

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for finding, qualifying, and driving new leads into the top end of the Jonas Hospitality sales funnel, as well as selling and closing smaller opportunities. This role works closely with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to manage back-to-base sales orders, contract processing, lead qualifications, and supplemental efforts in support of the Business Development Representative (BDR). The ISR will maintain a master sales plan outlining methodical outreach and opportunity closure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive sales plan identifying key prospects to target within North America.
  • Collaborate with RSDs to align on prospecting efforts and ownership.
  • Identify business opportunities through research, qualifying, and discovery to establish prospects' needs and goals.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing and sales for email campaigns, following up on distributed campaigns and creating interest-driven initiatives.
  • Qualify, sell, and close smaller opportunities with a focus on B2B orders.
  • Demonstrate Jonas Hospitality solutions to prospective clients and serve as a backup to application consultants.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitor products.
  • Use social media to drive brand and product awareness and source potential leads.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.
  • Commit to outbound sales objectives of 50-100 calls per day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience on a sales team, especially in hospitality sales, is preferred; hotel operations experience is ideal.
  • Comfortable speaking on the telephone with clear tonality and pace.
  • General experience with Windows and MS Office software.
  • Ability to learn technical details about computer hardware and third-party software products.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com.
