About The Role

IKM Building Solutions is seeking a driven, customer-focused Service Inside Sales Representative to support our Service Department. In this role, you’ll combine sales expertise with operational coordination—providing quotes, supporting account managers, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide service-related information and quotes
  • Estimate and prepare repair proposals based on technician findings or customer requests
  • Cook up with vendors to gather pricing for services and materials
  • Track and manage repair proposals in CRM (SmartSheet) and follow up on outstanding quotes
  • Support renewal and preparation of Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMAs)
  • Aid with job setup and coordination (equipment, rentals, trucking, parts, etc.)
  • Handle inbound calls and emails from new and existing customers
  • Support Account Managers with estimating, site surveys, and national account work
  • Complete service order requests and maintain accurate documentation
  • Follow up on marketing initiatives and customer outreach campaigns
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities

Qualifications

  • Experience 2-3 years of inside sales experience (required)
  • Experience managing a high volume of outbound calls
  • Estimating and/or HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Skills

  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and learning new software
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office-based role using standard office equipment
  • Primarily sedentary, with occasional filing and lifting (up to 20lbs)
  • May require bending, standing, or reaching for file storage
  • Some local travel may be required for customer site visits
