Inside Sales Representative

About the Role

We are in the business of selling building materials (windows/doors and trim) and helping create and deliver the promise of someone's dream. Our sales force is the front face of the company, handling sales and following orders through on‑site delivery. The role involves building relationships with customers, multitasking across the scope of a project, and thinking on your feet while contributing to a team that solves solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support existing customers, contractors, and the sales team.
• Assist customers with product selection, placement of orders, price and quote requests, and scheduling deliveries.
• Prepare bids and material estimates from customer‑provided blueprints.
• Create invoices, work orders, and sales tickets.
• Prepare and input orders into the system.

Qualifications

• Some college in Business or Construction Management preferred, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience in a building‑materials or construction‑related industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and provide material estimates.
• Excellent oral communication and positive interpersonal skills; a team player.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good math ability.

Skills

• Knowledge of various product lines and procedures; comfortable quoting prices and presenting sales products.
• Familiarity with building materials such as lumber.
• Proficient with MS Office and quick to learn proprietary software.
