About the role

FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. This is a full-time permanent position located in Farmington Hills, MI.

Responsibilities

• Establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team.
• Determine and provide solutions to customers' process flow control and instrumentation needs.
• Impact customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results.
• Sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders, and suggesting additional products.
• Process orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary.
• Work closely with Outside Salesmen in soliciting business, executing order transactions, and maintaining superior customer service levels.
• Maximize gross margin by ensuring FCX gets paid for superior service, problem solving, and technical expertise.
• Review open customer order reports and take action on open items.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years’ experience in Customer Service related Industry preferred.
• Experience in an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service/Application Engineer role with an Industrial Distributor a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using FCX and vendor supplied tools/software.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical expertise.
