Inside Sales Representative

Job Duties

• Receive inbound phone calls from customers
• Place orders via customer calls
• Return goods previously sent to customers
• Request warranty consideration via customer calls
• Check shipments and delivery of existing orders via customer calls
• Handle customer complaints
• Cook up orders by entering customer placed orders into the computer system
• Review customer files and previously placed orders to validate new orders
• Validate specifications of orders to our manufacturing requirements
• Write return good authorizations (RGAs)
• Authorize returns of products from the field, including warranty items, incorrect shipments, or returns for credit
• Direct warranty consideration to Engineering department for analysis
• Coordinate sales from outside salespeople, including order entry from assigned territory
• Coordinate orders and quotes from outside sales
• Write quotations by gathering information and specifications from prospective customers
• Gather the information and pricing necessary to facilitate a proper and accurate quotation
• Make outbound calls into assigned territory to solicit new customers
• Return calls to customer inquiries
• Make calls to solicit freight quotations
