Inside Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Build long-term relationships through attentive, responsive, and solution-focused communication
  • Understand customer needs in detail and ensure every request is handled thoroughly
  • Prepare accurate quotes based on customer specifications and product requirements
  • Carefully review customer requirements to ensure completeness and correctness
  • Process customer orders in ERP/CRM system
  • Follow up on open quotes to increase conversion rates
  • Coincide pricing, lead times, and availability with internal teams
  • Provide basic technical support for electrical products (transformers, power supplies, industrial components, etc.)
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and applications
  • Collaborate with engineering or product specialists when needed
  • Guide customers toward the most suitable solution for their application
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Proactively reach out to customers to generate new business
  • Support the outside sales team by following up on leads
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives (campaigns, promotions, new product launches)
  • Maintain and update customer records in CRM system

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or technical sales experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
