Inside Sales Representative
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Delivers on monthly and quarterly AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets of volume, revenue, and profitability
- Manages a territory of Inside Sales accounts, building customer relationships through regular, documented contact
- Coordinates orders, obtains forecasts, optimizes pricing, and demonstrates customer-centricity through handling customer concerns
- Collaborates with Inside Sales colleagues, prospects, and coordinates lead generation at trade shows
- Maintains an active project pipeline
- Manages selected distributors and engages them in joint sales campaigns
- Champions value-based sales and marketing systems
- Conducts customer insight activities to identify unmet needs and potential growth areas, working with the marketing team to integrate these insights into new product introductions
- Drives customer interactions across the organization
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Desired Skills

- Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members
- Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within a sales role or related role at a specialty chemicals company preferred
- Experience utilizing a CRM to facilitate growth, communication, and customer experience
- Experience with developing sales plans and executing to achieve overall growth goals
