About the role
The Inside Sales Representative 3 (ISR 3) is a senior subject-matter expert who contributes beyond individual execution through mentoring, problem-solving, and process improvement. ISR 3 team members help elevate the capability and consistency of the entire team. This role requires strong execution, clear communication, and accurate system work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
- Prepare, review, and manage quotes and orders within ERP systems
- Proactively manage open orders to ensure delivery, accuracy, and follow-through
- Communicate clearly and early when issues, changes, or risks arise
- Collaborate closely with sales, vendors, and internal teams
- Handle increased complexity, non-standard requests, or higher-risk situations
- Serve as a product, process, or customer-segment resource for others
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required; college credits desired; technical/mechanical emphasis preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in an inside sales support, customer support, order management, or technical customer service role, with demonstrated expertise in complex customer situations, deep product/process knowledge, and experience serving as a resource for others.
- Equivalent experience to progression from ISR 2 may be considered.
- Experience in the hygienic/sanitary process equipment industry is preferred.

Pay
Actual pay will be based on experience, skills and internal equity. Pay range is $30-$36 per hour.
Schedule
This role is primarily office-based, Monday-Friday, with limited travel. It requires extended computer use, effective communication, and occasional movement within industrial environments. Light physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds, may be required.
