Inside Sales Rep, RoD

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative for Repair OnDemand is responsible for full-cycle sales including prospecting, cold calling, and identifying and developing opportunities. This position supports both Mobile Tech RX and ReconPro products from Repair OnDemand.

Responsibilities

• Outbound sales focused on targeting the automotive aftermarket industry and repairers.
• Manage and sort through free trial leads to determine the best outreach strategy.
• Responsible for full-cycle sales including prospecting, cold calling, and identifying and developing opportunities.
• Develop relationships with target customers, learn their potential business needs, and determine the services or products that the customer is most likely to purchase.
• Meet and exceed call volume standards along with other key performance indicators.
• Document and report all activities in the customer relationship management system.
• Use professional sales processes and concepts to manage sales pipeline and solve a variety of objections.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge and skills.
• Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication, listening, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to rebound quickly after rejection.
• Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
• Must learn and apply company policies while actively applying the company's core philosophies and principles.
• Familiar and comfortable with video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. This role may require visits to various automotive dealership environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, and have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. The position involves driving a personal vehicle within an assigned geographic area.

Physical Demands

• Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 5 pounds.
• Visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
• Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform essential functions.
• Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

Travel

This position may require up to 10% travel, which may include air or vehicle travel outside the local area and overnight stays.
