What You’ll Do
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through friendly, dependable service.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of State Electric products, services, and industry trends.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare quotations and provide product information to help customers make purchasing decisions.
- Respond to customer requests by phone, email, and in person as needed.
- Operate the cash register and handle point-of-sale transactions when applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service and help resolve questions or concerns.
- Work closely with branch teammates to support customers and keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately process orders, transactions, and customer information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A customer-focused mindset and willingness to help solve problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Interest in learning products and building knowledge of the electrical distribution industry.
