About the role

AlarMax Distributors is seeking to expand its Inside Sales Representative team at its Phoenix location. As an industry leader in distributing advanced solutions from various manufacturers, AlarMax operates 25 locations across the United States and plans for continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and generate leads
• Answer questions about products and recommend solutions
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction
• Stay updated on product features and maintain branch standards
• Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calls
• Complete sales transactions including invoicing, returns, and payment processing
• Participate in team efforts to provide excellent customer service
• Build trust relationships with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in related fields
• Experience with AV, CCTV, security, fire alarm, or surveillance products
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service
• Proficiency in English and basic math skills
• Marketing and industry insight
• Upselling and cross-selling track record
• Hands-on experience with point of sale (POS) transactions and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Active listening and strong communication skills
• Customer service focus and willingness to learn
• Ability to handle pressure and address complaints effectively
