Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives focused on new business growth.
- Drive pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and sales execution across assigned territories.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and performance coaching sessions.
- Develop territory and business plans to maximize revenue and competitive takeaways.
- Partner with Marketing, Editorial, and Sales leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve performance.
- Manage forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and overall team productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of successful sales experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience leading inside sales, business development, or acquisition-focused teams.
- Strong coaching, performance management, and team development skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Publishing, EdTech, media, SaaS, or technology-based sales experience is preferred.
