About the role
Every second matters when someone needs help, and keeping our schools and communities safe is a continuous commitment. While our Sales Executives are out building new relationships, our success also relies on ensuring our existing customers have complete access to the full suite of CENTEGIX safety solutions. CENTEGIX is looking for a proactive, results-driven Inside Sales Executive to join our team in a brand-new initiative focused on the Western US region. In this role, you will focus entirely on cross-selling, introducing additional safety tools and expanding our technology footprint within our current K-12 client base. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with Account Managers to identify high-potential districts, assess customer health, and timing around renewals to deliver additional life-saving technology to the schools that already trust us. We are looking for a sharp, process-driven seller who leads with a strategic plan for every account. If you are a consultative inside salesperson who thrives on multi-product cross-selling, building internal and external partnerships, and selling a mission that truly matters, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop Account-Level Attack Plans: Build and execute tailored, data-backed strategies to cross-sell additional CENTEGIX platform solutions into existing accounts across the Western US—ranging from single school sites to top-tier school districts.
- Work Smart Before Outreach: Thoroughly research existing account context, usage data, stakeholder maps, and renewal timelines before initiating contact, avoiding cold "smile and dial" volume tactics in favor of targeted, high-value conversations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner strategically with Account Managers, Customer Success, and sales support teams to gather intelligence on account health and leverage all available internal resources to unlock high-potential cross-sell opportunities.
- Full Inside Sales Process Execution: Run a 100% remote, strategic sales process—from internal account alignment and customized virtual demonstrations to proposal negotiation, contract execution, and CRM tracking.
- Consultative Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong digital rapport with superintendents, school safety directors, IT leaders, and district decision-makers, positioning additional CENTEGIX tools as direct solutions to their strategic safety goals.
- Pipeline Rigor & Strategy: Maintain high organization and accurate forecasting in Salesforce, mapping out account expansion pathways and tracking progress against your strategic territory plan.
Requirements
- 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, with strong preference given to EdTech, SaaS, or technology sales.
- Demonstrated Strategic Sales Methodology: Proven ability to build account attack plans, conduct pre-call research, and execute a multi-touch, consultative sales process rather than relying on high-volume cold dialing.
- Location: Can be located anywhere within the Western US (100% remote work environment with occasional infrequent travel required).
- Proven track record in an inside sales or account expansion/cross-selling role (digital demos, virtual relationship building, remote deal closing).
- Experience or familiarity with selling to K-12 school districts, public sector, or multi-stakeholder decision-makers preferred.
- Resourceful team player with experience working side-by-side with Account Management or Customer Success teams to gather insights and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent virtual presentation, strategic communication, and consultative negotiation skills.
- Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred) and modern sales engagement tools.
