Duties And Responsibilities
- Engage inbound leads and perform targeted outbound outreach to generate new business opportunities within the restaurant and retail verticals.
- Conduct virtual discovery calls to understand business needs and align them with the right POS + payment processing solutions.
- Deliver compelling, benefit-driven product demos that showcase the power of PayrocPOS + payments in real-world merchant environments.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track deal progress, and report on pipeline health and close rates.
- Clearly communicate the benefits of integrated payments, including EMV, PCI compliance, hardware, transaction rates, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Merchant Solutions, Implementation, and Support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue targets, activity goals, and conversion rates.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of inside sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, POS, or SaaS.
- Strong phone presence and virtual selling skills.
- Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate them simply.
- Competitive mindset with a team-player attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in payment processing (merchant services, terminals, gateways, rates/fees).
- Deep understanding of Aloha POS.
- Familiarity with POS solutions such as Clover, Lightspeed, Revel, or Toast.
- Understanding of EMV, PCI-DSS, and industry compliance requirements.
- Experience selling to SMBs or franchise-based businesses in the restaurant or retail space.
