Inside Sales Engineer - Traceability

About the role

The Pittsburgh office, located in Cranberry, PA, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Engineer for our Engraving Solutions business, which includes our Brady and Gravotech brands. This individual will be tasked with achieving positive sales opportunities with new and existing accounts by professionally and effectively communicating with potential and established customers to maintain and grow revenue.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate new business prospects with both potential and current customers through strategic phone and email engagement.
• Evaluate customer requirements to propose tailored solutions and products to suit the customer’s needs.
• Support Territory Managers in the management of key accounts.
• Cook with the Customer Service department to submit sales orders and report quality concerns, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive and accurate for seamless processing.
• Oversee multiple opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales. Experience in industrial sales is highly preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
• Thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently while managing several projects.
• Able to travel in assigned territory up to 25% of the time.
