Inside Sales Development Associate (Cincinnati, OH)
Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. About the role
The Inside Sales Development Associate is responsible for ensuring quality pipeline foundation through strategic support of positive client interface from lead generation through contract negotiation and close. The role has ownership of qualified lead generation against prospect profitability, timelines, and market segmentation, providing material and strategy support for needs and discovery meeting preparation, proposal development, and contract negotiation and closure.
Responsibilities
- Generates leads and contributes to pipeline development aligned with respective budget as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) within the Market-Based Sales Team.
- Prioritizes opportunities based upon profitability, customer timelines, and market segmentation.
- Tracks lead opportunities resulting from marketing campaigns, reviews and reports campaign effectiveness, and follows up on opportunities.
- Aligns overall sales strategy with market team performance to budget.
- Leverages the Omnicare Value Proposition and develops initial relationships with prospects to create viable leads.
- Ensures quality pipeline foundation by providing sales materials and strategy to support positive client interface during needs and discovery through contract negotiation and close.
- Assists the Market-Based Sales Team with the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Supports efficient contractual negotiations by leveraging the Salesforce contract initiation form (CIF) process with appropriate escalations to achieve resolution.
- Consistently utilizes the customer relationship management system and available marketing and sales effectiveness tools and resources.
- Collaborates and communicates regularly with Sales Executives, Sales Support Supervisor, and other key stakeholders to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the market-based team.
- Actively participates in pipeline reviews and discussions with direct manager and other key stakeholders.
- Regularly assesses risks and opportunities and partners to create appropriate action plans.
- Maintains ongoing knowledge of competitive threats and shares this information to proactively maintain market leadership status.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, networking, and industry participation.
- Maintains data integrity in the customer relationship management system.
- May participate in trade shows, conventions, and other industry programs, sourcing leads and managing follow-up activities.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must reside within a commutable distance of Cincinnati, OH.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (4 days in the Cincinnati, OH office Monday through Thursday; work from home on Friday).
- Ability to travel within the United States up to 10% of the time.

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 - $26.93 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in the Cincinnati, OH office (Monday through Thursday) and 1 day working from home (Friday).
