About the role

Central States Group, A Cogent Company is currently seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree (minimum) along with previous experience in a customer service/order coordination/scheduling position.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion.
  • Clarifies invalid and unclear order requirements with sales staff.
  • Enters all sales orders into our ERP system.
  • Placed orders with vendors to purchase customer orders.
  • Computes prices, shipping costs and any appropriate discounts.
  • Handles inbound calls from customers, vendors and sales personnel.
  • Provides sales quotes for parts to customers from vendor provided resources.
  • Determines appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings.
  • Verifies and updates customer information.
  • Checks customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments.
  • Informs customer and/or sales team of shipping date and any possible delays.
  • Accurately prepares invoices in our billing system.
  • Electronically files copies of all orders received.
  • Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Gmail.
  • Must be a high-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers.
  • Must be able to multitask, such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills.
  • Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations.
  • Must have the ability to sit for extended periods while typing and reading on the computer.
  • Experience using ERP software programs.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (minimum).
