Inside Sales Conversion Specialist
Position Overview
Joyce is seeking a driven Inside Sales Conversion Specialist to maximize the effectiveness of our in-home sales calendar. This role goes beyond basic appointment setting— you will be responsible for confirming appointments, re-engaging hesitant homeowners, and ensuring valuable opportunities do not fall through the cracks.
You will work closely with warm leads who have already expressed interest, using strong phone skills and a consultative closing approach to solidify appointments and improve overall show rates. The ideal candidate brings an inside sales mindset, thrives in a metrics-driven environment, and knows how to confidently guide unsure customers toward a firm next step.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy phone-based selling, objection handling, and playing a direct role in driving revenue for the field sales team.
Compensation
The role offers an hourly base rate plus commission and performance incentives.
- $15–$17 per hour base rate
- Commission and performance bonuses tied to confirmed appointments and show rate performance
- Total earning potential of $25–$32+ per hour based on performance
- Additional incentives for calendar optimization and recovery of at-risk appointments
What You’ll Do
- Make daily outbound calls to warm leads and previously scheduled homeowners
- Confirm upcoming in-home appointments and reinforce customer commitment
- Re-engage hesitant or “not ready” prospects and move them forward in the sales process
- Optimize the in-home sales calendar to minimize gaps, cancellations, and no-shows
- Use a consultative, closing-focused approach to secure firm appointments
- Educate homeowners on Joyce products and the value of the in-home consultation
- Handle inbound inquiries and appointment changes with urgency and professionalism
- Partner closely with the In-Home Sales team to ensure strong appointment quality
- Accurately document call activity, outcomes, and customer insights in CRM
- Maintain performance goals for daily call, confirmation, and show-rate metrics
Qualifications
- Inside sales, appointment setting, call center, or phone-based sales experience (strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to handle objections and confidently ask for the appointment
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- A persistent, follow-up oriented mindset that does not let opportunities slip away
- Comfort working toward performance metrics and conversion goals
- High level of organization and attention to calendar detail
- Reliable transportation to and from work

- Ability to stay motivated in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
