About the role
Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who is passionate about building relationships and serving customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to ensure high-quality building products are provided to customers.
- Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales.
- Support, provide product availability, pricing, and delivery information as needed.
- Develop counter and win sales strategies, create long-lasting relationships with buyers, and effectively quote prices and communicate follow-up.
- Handle cash and credit functions responsibly.
- Operate a PC and related software, and multitask to meet company timelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Meet expectations set by the Branch Manager and budget.
- Show market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes.
- Communicate professionally (verbal and written).
- Quickly learn and retain knowledge of new products, specialty products, and systems.
- Support the Territory Manager with product availability, pricing, and delivery information.
- Have a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-ins and vendors, responding promptly to inquiries and assisting as needed.
- Develop counter and win sales strategies.
- Create long-lasting relationships with buyers.
- Experience in price quoting and follow-up communication.
- Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions.
- Able to operate a PC and related software.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English.
- 3+ years inside sales experience in related industries.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
