About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build strong relationships with customers and effectively sell building products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to ensure high-quality building products are provided to customers.
  • Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to create long-lasting relationships with new and existing buyers.
  • Price quote and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Handle cash transactions and manage credit functions.
  • Operate a PC and related software to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor for all customers and vendors.
  • Multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet company timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Meet expectations set by the Branch Manager and budget.
  • Show market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes.
  • Possess professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Quickly learn and retain knowledge about new products, specialty products, and systems.
  • Provide support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed.
  • Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors.
  • Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies.
  • Experience in inside sales, especially in the related industry.
  • Ability to obtain and retain new buyers by creating long-lasting relationships.
  • Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
