Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Uses comprehensive product knowledge, customer, and interpersonal relationship skills to secure parts for General Equipment's customers.
- Works with product managers, inventory control, and service personnel to build knowledge through training opportunities.
- Assists in the procurement, filling of customer orders, stocking, and receiving of construction and aggregate machinery parts.
- Becomes proficient in various online supplier parts systems to order and manage parts.
- Builds knowledge of existing product lines, service standards, and procedures.
- Maintains close, positive working relationships with service and administrative departments.
- May perform other duties as directed by Parts Manager and Branch Management.
Job Requirements

- Has experience in parts sales in a retail environment, with preference for experience in heavy equipment/construction industry.
- Has computer skills including navigating vendor sites, using spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications.
- Exhibits excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
