Inside Parts Sales Representative

OVERVIEW

Pay Range: $25/HR-$28/HR DOE

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Uses comprehensive product knowledge, customer, and interpersonal relationship skills to secure parts for customers.
• Works with product managers, inventory control, and service personnel to build product knowledge.
• Participates in off-site, in-house, and self-study product training opportunities.
• Assists in the procurement, filling of customer orders, stocking, and receiving of construction and aggregate machinery parts.
• Becomes proficient in various online supplier parts systems to look up and order parts.
• Builds knowledge of existing product lines, service standards, and procedures.
• Acquires parts and other items from vendors in and around the Fargo area in a safe and professional manner.
• Aids in the collection of data necessary for efficient inventory decisions with Parts Manager.
• Attends local, regional, and national parts training seminars as requested by company management.
• Maintains positive working relationships with service and administrative departments.
• Performs other duties as directed by Parts Manager and Branch Management.

Job Requirements

• Has experience in parts sales in a retail environment.
• Preferred experience in heavy equipment/construction industry.
• Has computer skills including navigating vendor sites and processes, using computer spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications.
• Has excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Has a valid driver’s license.
