Inside Maintenance Staff PT

Inside Maintenance Staff position under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Schedule

• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
• Monday through Sunday
• Requests for specific days off require advance notification and approval by department manager/director and/or general manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the casino, inside and out
• Pick up and empty all trash receptacles and ashtrays
• Wipe down and clean machines
• Dust all machines, signs, and televisions
• Clean and stock all restrooms and janitor closets with supplies and maintain throughout the day
• Keep all maintenance equipment in working condition
• Pick up trash and empty outside trash containers
• Sweep sidewalks of trash and debris
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Assist in other areas as needed

Physical Requirements

• Sit and/or stand continuously for a full shift with lunch break
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, and finger dexterity
• Move objects up to and exceeding 25 lbs. with reasonable accommodations
• Work in a casino environment (exposure to cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke; bright flashing lights; loud mechanical noises and crowds)
• No allergies to cleaning soaps, detergents, or other specified cleaning chemicals

Qualifications

• Entry-level position
• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification

• Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years
• Misdemeanors: Theft/Fraud within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification
• Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery within two (2) years results in automatic disqualification (unless applicant can provide proof of attending a treatment program)
• Drug/Alcohol-related offenses within two (2) years result in automatic disqualification (unless applicant can provide proof of attending a treatment program)
