Inside Maintenance Staff FT

Inside Maintenance Staff position under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Schedule

Requires morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, Monday through Sunday. Requests for specific days off require advance notification and approval by the department manager, director, or general manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the casino, inside and out.
• Pick up and empty all trash receptacles and ashtrays.
• Wipe down and clean machines.
• Dust all machines, signs, and televisions.
• Clean and stock all restrooms and janitor closets with supplies and maintain throughout the day.
• Keep all maintenance equipment in working condition.
• Pick up trash and empty outside trash containers.
• Sweep sidewalks of trash and debris.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with a lunch break.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, and finger dexterity.
• Move objects up to and exceeding 25 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
• Work in a casino environment (exposure to cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke; bright flashing lights; loud mechanical noises and crowds).
• No allergies to cleaning soaps, detergents, or other specified cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification

• Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years.
• Misdemeanors:
  • Theft/Fraud within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
  • Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION (unless applicant can provide proof of attendance in a treatment program).
  • Drug/Alcohol Related Offenses within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION (unless applicant can provide proof of attendance in a treatment program).
