What You’ll DoAs an Inside Claims Representative, you will manage moderate to complex multi-line insurance claims from start to finish. Your work will play a key role in helping policyholders through some of life’s most challenging moments, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages for a wide range of claimsConduct thorough documentation and maintain detailed claim filesAnalyze legal liability and apply appropriate legal theoriesNegotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and othersCoordinate with vendors and external partners for appraisals and reportsManage subrogation activities and support recovery of loss dollarsCollaborate with team members and assist with training when neededSupport storm response and handle claims across levels as needed What You BringA bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis)Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and writing abilitiesAttention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of workFamiliarity with claims software and a willingness to learnCommitment to customer service and a calm, professional demeanor Requirements to SucceedFor Inside Claims Representative: Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience)For Senior Inside Claims Representative:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)At least 5 years of moderate to complex multi-line claims experienceAssociate in Claims (AIC) designation (or 7 years of experience in lieu of AIC)Physical ability to sit, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs occasionallyA quiet, professional remote or office environment to support work productivity Why Join UsAt Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance, you’ll find more than just a job — you’ll discover a purpose.
