Drive business through ESET’s channel partners and distributors with support from senior colleagues and management. Focus on partnership development, partner profiling, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities. Build and manage a qualified pipeline of channel partners within a defined geographic territory or account split, collaborating with external Channel Account Managers and Sales Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Engage with partners virtually (phone and video calls) to drive activities and acquisition by supporting their day-to-day operational needs.
- Build collaborative business relationships with partner accounts and their customers.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within each organization to positively influence outcomes.
- Focus on volume partners and perform daily profiling to identify high-potential partners, escalating them to Channel Account Managers (CAMs) as needed.
- Develop and manage a pipeline with your accounts, emphasizing existing business and upsell opportunities with guidance from senior team members.
- Accurately forecast revenue on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ESET’s product range (sales and basic technical levels) to respond to partner queries and outline benefits, countering competitive claims as needed.
- Keep reseller and customer company information, as well as all activities, up-to-date in the CRM system.
- Assist resellers with operational tasks, including processing deal registrations and orders.
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue and KPI targets.
- Perform additional tasks as instructed by management in alignment with departmental and company goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.
- Previous experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development is a plus but not required.
- Internship experience or relevant coursework may be considered in place of professional sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) is a plus.
- Willingness to receive coaching and adapt to feedback.
Pay
Salary range for this position is $70K–$75K OTE, depending on experience.
