Inpatient Urology PA

About the Role

The Physician Assistant - Inpatient Urology provides direct support to surgeons during procedures, performs preoperative histories and physicals, and manages postoperative care, including writing notes and orders in the PACU. They assess, diagnose, and respond to clinical needs of surgical patients, performing special procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Respond to clinical calls
• Perform procedures as directed by physicians

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-accredited Physician Assistant Master's program
• Active DC license & NCCPA certification
• Active CDS/DEA licenses
• Active PECOS enrollment
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Urology experience preferred
