Inpatient Urology PA

Responsibilities

• Assist primary surgeons during surgeries and maintain sterile technique.
• Perform preoperative histories and physicals.
• Document post-operative notes and write orders in the PACU.
• Respond to nursing calls regarding clinical management.
• Assess and diagnose patients.
• Perform special procedures under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Master's Program.
• Active DC License and NCCPA Certification.
• Active CDS/DEA licenses.
• Active PECOS enrollment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of diagnostic testing, medication management, surgical procedures, and current treatment protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting and respond effectively to patient needs.

Pay

$63.31 to $98.31 per hour, commensurate with experience.
