Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual and family therapy for patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
• Accurately and timely document patient interactions.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Involvement in the treatment planning process.
• Counsel family members and support groups to ensure appropriate communication.
• Communicate actively with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Proactively communicate with those involved with the patient's treatment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work or counseling.
• Relevant state licensure.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• Current clinical license per state of practice guidelines.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.

Full-time, Monday-Friday.
