About the role

We are seeking an Inpatient Therapist who excels in providing comprehensive care to patients dealing with psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues. You will conduct individual and group therapy sessions, participate in treatment planning, and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
  • Display active involvement in treatment planning process.
  • Provide family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
  • Work well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent.
  • A current clinical or social work license in the state of OH.
  • Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Pay

The base compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This role offers a full-time schedule with weekends.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent and a current clinical or social work license in the state of OH.
