About the Role
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating patients on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
- Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, considering cultural, spiritual, and personal values.
- Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid RN license.
- No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
- Critical assessment, communication, patient education, and safety awareness skills.
