Inpatient Surgical RN (PRN)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across the continuum of care.Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.Contributes to a safe, healing environment by promoting safety and quality standards. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Licenses & Certifications: Must hold RN licensure.Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety focus.
